George Duncan is one of the most highly regarded criminal defense lawyers on Long Island and has handled countless high-profile cases in the New York metropolitan area.  He handles criminal cases of all types, from the most basic misdemeanors to the most serious felonies.  Because of his success, most of George’s clients come from referrals from past clients and other attorney’s.

George spent seven years in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office where he was assigned to all the major trial bureaus including Narcotics, Major Offenses, and Sex Crimes.  As a defense attorney he has successfully defended all levels of criminal cases as well as successfully defended clients on trial for Murder, Rape, Sex Abuse, Drug Sale and Possession, Burglary, and Driving While Intoxicated.

George graduated from Colgate University in 1990.  He attended Law School at Tulane University where he graduated Cum Laude in 1994.  He worked for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office for seven years until 2001. George then went to work for William Keahon, the premier trial defense attorney on Long Island.  After a successful partnership with Keahon, George left to start his own firm where he partnered with Robert Macedonio.
